Hi! I'm Dr. Daisy (she/her). I am a licensed dietitian nutritionist and an eating disorder dietitian with a sub-specialty in very selective eating, ADHD, autism and other neuro-differences.

My heart and soul is in private practice - it is where I can provide the most innovative, outstanding care to my clients.
I’ve had the honor and the privilege of helping people with eating issues in Montgomery County, MD for 14 years in solo practice.
As the years passed, I yearned for more collaboration among like-minded, non-diet dietitians. In the Fall of 2017, I launched the group practice, Daisy Miller & Co. We've been thriving ever since.
My interest in non-diet nutrition started in Graduate School. In 2003, I earned a doctorate in nutrition with a concentration in family therapy from Penn State University. My dissertation resulted in several research papers in peer-reviewed journals on the subject of food choice and family relationships.
My dissertation sparked an interest in blending psychotherapy models with nutrition science. This truly sets us apart! Me and my team are trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
This approach allows us to help our clients change deep-rooted thoughts and beliefs about food and their body, and make life-long changes for true happiness.
Learning never stops. I regularly participate in advanced training intensives and I enjoy presenting at conferences as well. My particular area of expertise is in the treatment of eating disorders, and eating dysregulation accompanied by neuro-differences, like ADHD or autism, or complex psychiatric disorders.
I hold much gratitude for Dr. Daisy & Co — my clients and colleagues enrich my life every day.

I welcome anyone, regardless of age, race, ability, size, gender identity or sexual orientation.
