Amanda Boostrom, MS, RD, LDN
Working within a group practice which embodies only non-dieting, non-weight stigmatizing philosophies is a perfect fit. Do you have medical issues? No problem – we can find ways to fuel your body without feeling restricted. I also enjoy helping parents and families solve a range of common eating issues, like picky eating and childhood overeating.
My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Maryland, College Park. I received extensive clinical training during a 10-month dietetic internship at Virginia Tech. I then pursued a Master’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at Colorado State University, which included scientific research on the relationship between intuitive eating and weight management. I have years of experience helping individuals navigate a variety of health and body image issues. I am passionate about helping others break the dieting cycle, heal their relationship with food, connect with and love their unique body, and learn how to fuel it well.
